Are you getting the correct answer?
Accurate and timely information relating to your Mum or Dad is vital for you to be assured of their current state.
The best (and correct) place to enquire is to the Registered Nurse (RN) that is on duty when you make your enquiry. Whether you call in to visit or phone, please direct your enquiry to the RN. This way you will get an accurate assessment of the current social and medical situation, including any feedback from the Doctor or others in the team.
Residents are not privy to details of other residents and are therefore not a reliable source of information so please go to the RN for accurate, up-to-date information.
Audit
Our audit is due to take place on the 1st November 2011 and the audit team have indicated that they would like to meet with some family members. The meeting would take approximately 10 minutes.
Please check your social diary and if you want to have a discussion with the audit team, and are free at a certain time on the 1st, please Alan or Geet now at 09 627 8653 and we will try to schedule you in for an interview.

Musical month
On 8th Tali Kini Kini, a vibrant singer, made the residents dance to his tunes. He sang songs in English, Samoan and Tongan. The most amazing thing about him was he could sing in 2 voices – male and female.
On16th Chris Bligh, singer cum guitarist, won our hearts by his romantic songs like “You Are My Sunshine”, “Me & My Wife”.
On the 29th, residents enjoyed the Toy Box concert in Avondale.
Peacehaven’s visit to Learning Curve
Our residents had a visit to the childcare centre, Learning Curve. They had a move and groove session, singing rhymes along with loads of fun. Both the generations enjoyed each other’s company. It was a nice change for everybody.
